1448581 Applicator for chromatography SHANDON SOUTHERN INSTRUMENTS Ltd 10 Jan 1974 [23 Jan 1973] 3431/73 Heading B1H An applicator for forming on a substrate a number of spaced colinear liquid streaks each having substantially the same volume of liquid per unit length comprises a body portion supporting a colinear array of spaced-apart single isolated straight applicating strands of similar dimension. "Strands" are defined as wires or thin narrow strips having lengths large in relation to widths and thicknesses. The strands may be of stainless steel strip, each mounted in a plastics block, the blocks being in turn mounted in a holder.
