Abstract

1448050 3-Aminooxadiazoles and haloguanidines CHINOIN GYOGYSZER ES VEGYESZETI TERMEKEK GYARA RT 24 Dec 1974 [29 Dec 1973] 55855/74 Heading C2C 3 - Amino - 1,2,4 - oxadiazoles having the general Formula (I) and the salts thereof are prepared in a process which comprises converting a monoacylguanidine of the general formula (II) with a halogenating reagent into the corresponding novel halogen imine of Formula III subjecting the halogen imine to a basic cyclization and converting the obtained compounds with salts, if desired, whereby in the general Formula I and II A and B are hydrogen, alkyl-, aralkyl-, aryl- or an aromatic, partially or completely saturated heterocyclic group, with the proviso that if A is alkyl-, aralkyl- or phenyl group, then B can not be hydrogen, or A is cyano group when B is hydrogen or A is nitroso-, or hydroxy group when B is not hydrogen and D is hydrogen, alkyl-, cycloalkyl-, aralkyl-, aryl group or an aromatic, partially or completely saturated heterocyclic group or an group, where A and B are as above.
