Abstract

1446983 Thermal switches DANFOSS AS 11 March 1974 [12 March 1973] 10674/74 Heading H1N A thermostat for series connection to a load 3 has just two terminals 1, 2 and comprises a temperature responsive switch 5 and a thermal accelerator 6 connected in series between terminals 1, 2, and a diode circuit 7 connected across accelerator 6 to stabilize the voltage across accelerator 6 occurring in response to current through the thermostat. Switch 5 is operated by a bimetal device 4 and accelerator 6 is a resistor. Load 3 may be a solenoid valve.
