1446735 Dyestuff compositions CIBA-GEIGY AG 29 Aug 1973 [29 Aug 1972 18 June 1973] 40599/73 Heading D1B Dyestuff preparations comprise a solid solution of a non-ionic dyestuff in a polymeric material which is solid at ambient temperatures the weight ratio of dye to polymer being in the range 1:10 to 10:1. Disperse, reactivedisperse, and solvent soluble vat dyestuffs may be employed in polymers which are polyolefins, polyvinyl chloride, acrylic and modified acrylic fibres, polystyrene, polyamide, polyalcohol, polyureas, starch and cellulose derivatives. The polymeric material may be mixed with the dyestuff in the liquid phase and a solid phase product is obtained therefrom, or the dyestuff and polymer may be melted together; or the polymer is first melted and the dyestuff then added.
