Abstract
1446422 Street lighting control systems ROYCE THOMPSON ELECTRIC Ltd 6 Aug 1973 [4 May 1972] 16954/76 Divided out of 1446421 Heading H2H The disclosures in this Specification are substantially identical to those in the parent Specification 1,446,421 but the claims are directed towards the operation of the switching means 4 containing the transistors TR1, TR2 in response to a plurality of voltage values, derived by a photocell P in the device 7 whereby the switching means 4 is operative to close and/or open the output circuit of the diode bridge 3 whereby a gating signal for a triac T is controlled to switch the load, comprising a street lamp, ON and OFF, according to the ambient light conditions.
