Abstract
1444774 Impedance protective systems INDUSTRIELLE DE CONTROLE ET D'EQUIPEMENT 16 Oct 1973 [17 Oct 1972] 48189/73 Heading H2K An impedance protective system fed from current and voltage transformers T 1 , T 2 of a transmission line includes amplifiers 11, 12, 21, 22, fed with summated and difference voltages from the transformers T 1 , T 2 to provide signals to phase comparators 13, 14, 23, 24. Amplifier 11 produces a negative signal related to the sum of the line voltage U and a constant R times the current I which signal is compared at 13 with a current i produced in a phase shift circuit Cl, R2 connected to the current transformer T1. Amplifier 12 produces a signal related to the difference between U and RI and this signal is compared at 14 with the current i. Amplifier 22 produces a negative signal related to U plus a constant z times line current I and this is compared with a current related to I. in comparator 23 and the latter current is also compared in comparator 24 with a signal from the amplifier 22 related to the difference between U and zI.
