1444500 Seat belts ROMER-WINGARD AUTOGURTE GmbH 18 Oct 1974 45240/74 Heading A3V [Also in Divisions F2] A pad located in use between a child and a seat belt is shaped to fit over and around the child's thighs and abdomen and has its structure locally weakened where the belt is entrained. In a collision the weakened structure collapses to absorb impact energy. The belt is entrained in a channel the back wall of which is recessed to weaken the structure.
