Abstract
1443197 Ion-exchange alumina-silicates W R GRACE & CO 25 Sept 1973 [25 Sept 1972] 44971/73 Heading C1A [Also in Division B1] Natural chabazite is cation exchanged by treating with La, Ca, Sr, Mg and Ni ions by treating at 60‹ C. with aqueous solutions of the relevant halides; mineral erionite is similarly cation-exchanged using aqueous solutions of Li, Ca, Mg, Ni, Sr, Cr and Mn. The products after drying may be used as adsorbents for the separation of nitrogen from oxygen in gas mixtures.
