Abstract
1443156 Hopper discharge UNIBIN Ltd 21 Sept 1973 [16 Nov 1972] 53016/72 Heading B8S [Also in Division F2] A container 16 has a discharge aperture which can be closed by a slide 4, sealing between the slide 4 and the frame 5 being completed by a frame 8 which presses down on the slide when shafts 13, carrying eccentric pins 12 engaging in slots, in lugs 11 of the frame, are rotated by hand levers. Resilient sealing material 9 is screwed to the underside of the frame 8 and further sealing material 17 prevents leakage between the frame 8 and the container itself. Several such containers may be stacked one upon the other.
