Abstract

1443124 Collating sheets ORDIBEL SPRL 23 April 1974 [25 April 1973] 17746/74 Heading B8R The uppermost sheet from each one of a plurality of horizontal or inclined racks 2 is fed forward simultaneously by an unspecified, reciprocable entrainment device actuated by a cam 7, until a light ray 9 from a source 10 is blocked from a photo-diode 12, this causing an electromagnet 6 to stop the cam 7. When all the protruding uppermost sueets have been manually removed the photo-diode again receives the light ray, the electromagnet 6 is deactivated and the cam 7 released so that another set of sheets can be fed forward by the entrainment device.
