Abstract

1442271 Valves CORBERO SA 18 Feb 1974 [20 Feb 1973] 7347/74 Heading F2V An electromagnetically operated valve comprises a spool closure member 15 which communicates inlet 5 with either outlet 6 or outlet 7 and which, as well as being biased to the position shown by a spring 20, is biased against the closed outlet to assist in the sealing of that outlet. This may be accomplished by having a skew spring or a spring with a twist. Alternatively the lateral force can be produced by fluid pressure from the inlet 5 or by arranging a skew magnetic field by decentering of the winding 10 or by a suitable distribution of turns.
