Abstract

1441408 Indicators for switches XEROX CORP 19 Dec 1973 [26 Dec 1972] 58901/73 Heading H1N A selector switch apparatus has independently operable switches 34, 34, actuators 15, 16 and indicia bearing drums 10, 11, corresponding actuators and indicia drums being on a common axis but separated and being in the same sequence on that axis. The "units" actuator 15, indicator 10 and switch and detent assembly 31 are mounted on and fixed to a shaft 18. The "tens" actuator 16, and switch/detent assembly 30 are mounted on a sleeve 19 on shaft 18 and are connected to the "tens" indicia drum 11 by hub 26 and bridging semicylindrical web 27. The indicia are viewed through a window 14. Each switch and detent assembly 30, 31 comprises a rotary switch 34 and a detent consisting of a metal plate rotor 35 carrying a ball 40 which engages holes 43 in stator plate 33.
