1441396 Vehicle stands; securing vehicles in containers CONTAINERIZED AUTOMOBILES Ltd and C T ROBINSON 21 Sept 1973 [21 June 1972] 44523/73 Divided out of 1438274 Headings B7J and B7L A stand for supporting a vehicle in a container at an angle to the horizontal comprises a pair of spaced feet 29 each with an upstanding leg 30 which support by taper wedge joints a beam 31 having a pair of vehicle rear wheel cradles cantilevered from it, a second beam 32 extending between the inner of pairs of plates 33 on the feet 29 supporting vehicle front wheel cradles 35, vehicles when supported extending between a pair of the stands. Cradles 34 have wheel stops at both ends and cradles 35 have them at only one end each cradle having a flexible plastics belt extending transversely which locate at wheel and conform to its shape.
