Abstract

1439995 Cameras ASAHI KOGAKU KOGYO KK 3 Sept 1973 [22 Sept 1972] 41313/73 Heading G2A A camera has lamps (or light emitting diodes) 4, 5, 6 visible in the view-finder, lamps 4 and 5 being turned off if the exposure is correctly set and lamp 6 being turned on if the battery voltage is correct, so that the user can see when lamps 4 and 5 are turned off due to battery failure rather than due to correct exposure setting. As shown, an exposure control circuit comprises a photocell 1, diaphragm 3 and film and shutter speed resistor 2; lamp 4 being illuminated for over exposure and lamp 5 for under exposure. Fig. 3 (not shown) shows the circuit components in more detail.
