Abstract

1439159 Structural joints H LAWRENCE 18 June 1973 [27 June 1972] 28773/73 Heading F2M A connector for frame members 1, 2 comprises in combination an anchor 3 adapted to be fast with one frame member 1, an anchor 8 having a screw-threaded bore 9 adapted to be fast with the other frame member 2, a headed bolt 4 passing with clearance through a bore in the plug 3, a keying formation 5 fast on said bolt 4 and a spacer 6 having a coacting keying arrangement 7 fast therewith whereby rotation of the spacer with the bolt engaged in the bore 9 effects interconnection of the members 1, 2. For minor modifications involving spigot and socket connection between the spacer and associated members 1, 2, modified keying arrangements and a hollow bolt to accommodate electrical wiring the Specification and remaining drawings (not shown) should be referred to.
