Abstract

1439088 Seals HNC Ltd 24 Oct 1974 [25 Oct 1973] 46058/74 Heading F2B [Also in Division F4] A sealing strip for an oven door is in the form of an extruded section comprising a channel portion 1 and a portion 3 of T- or L-shape extending from the base of and from within the channel portion 1. The seal is held by a metal structure 4 forming part of the oven door or the oven door opening surround. The structure 4 includes pressed out portions defining spaced slots 5 and underlying passages 6 to hold the T- or L-shaped portion 3. The sealing strip may also comprise a flap 2 integrally formed with one side of the channel portion 1. The strip is made of silicon rubber.
