Abstract

1437520 Supporting ceramic products during baking S.I.R.M.A.-SOCIETA ITALIANA REFRATTARI MARGHERA AZIONARIA SpA 14 Dec 1973 [5 Jan 1973] 58108/73 Heading F4B A support for supporting ceramic products during baking in a furnace comprises rectangular modular elements 5 each having teeth 8, 9 on both sides of two opposite walls. Additional teeth 10, 10a are so shaped as to interlock with T-shaped edge portions of connecting members 12. Some of the teeth have been omitted from the drawings. However, each modular element has teeth 8, 9, 10 and 10a. Products to be baked are supported on plates (15), Fig. 1 (not shown), which are supported by opposed teeth. The connecting members 12 have central apertures 13 therethrough. They also have protuberances 14 which serve to space separate modular elements 5 in a row of modular elements and provide vacant spaces therebetween, so aiding air circulation in a furnace.
