1437414 Resectoscopes RICHARD WOLF GmbH 8 Aug 1973 [10 Aug 1972] 37692/73 Heading A5R A resectoscope comprises a handle 14 carrying a tubular guide 10 on which is mounted a slider 7 secured to a cutter electrode 6 having a cutting loop 6a at its distal end, the slider being movable along guide 10 between stops 8, 9 by means of a rack and pinion drive 32, 33 driven by a reversible electric motor 16 located in the handle. A switch 25-27 on the handle controls operation of the motor. A light guide 4 and a guide 5 for the cutter electrode extend through the barrel 1 of the resectoscope.
