1437159 Easy-open container ends AMERICAN CAN CO 21 Feb 1974 [19 Sept 1973] 7898/74 Addition to 1437158 Heading B8D In a modification of the easy-open container end of the parent Specification 1,437,158, the protective compound 46 for shielding the sharp edges on rupturing the scoreline 14 comprises a mixture of vinyl chloride polymer and elastomeric polymer. The vinyl chloride polymer is derived from vinyl chloride or mixtures thereof with at least one of vinyl acetate, vinylidene chloride and vinyl alcohol, specific examples of mixtures and proportions being given.
