Preserving meat, fish, and fruit.-Meat, fish, or fruit is soaked in an electrolytic bath containing a solution of common salt, cooked, dried, and powdered. For use, the substances are soaked or cooked in water or liquid fat. Some substances, such as fish, may also be subjected, previous to use, to an electrolytic bath.
