Abstract
1435007 Dielectric composition BICC Ltd 12 July 1974 [13 July 1973] 33558/73 Heading C5F [Also in Division H1] A telecommunications cable is filled with a grease-like water impermeable medium (e.g. petroleum jelly) containing 0À5-3% by weight of silicate mineral based inorganic fibrous particles. The fibrous particles are preferably asbestos, possibly treated chemically or chrysotile asbestos having an average diameter of 0À020-0À030 microns and an average length of 2-50 microns.
