Abstract
1434873 Washing vehicles TECNICSTAR HANDELS-ANSTALT 2 May 1974 [16 May 1973] 19287/74 Heading B7J A vehicle is washed to remove dirt from a surface thereof by the application of mud distributed over the surface and then spraying with jets of clean water to remove the mud in the form of a paste containing the material forming the dirt. The surface may be prepared by previous spraying with a chemical detergent product and the mud is then applied in the form of a slurry using jets providing some abrasive action upon the dirt. The mud is preferably of a bentonite or argillaceous type and may be recovered from the paste for re-use by separation in suitable collecting vessels.
