Abstract

1434295 Plaster compositions H & E BORGARDTS KG 28 Sept 1973 [29 Sept 1972] 45601/73 Heading C1H A plaster base for a floor covering composition comprises a mixture of 0À4-1À5 wt. per cent of liquefier, 0À001-0À5% by weight of setting retarding agent, 5-20 wt. per cent of Ca(OH) 2 and 99À599-78À45% of alpha calcium sulphate hemihydrate. Hardeners, e.g. Al 2 (SO 4 ) 3 and Portland cement are optionals. Water soluble polysilicic acids and modified melamine formaldehyde resins are examples of liquefiers. Floor covering compositions contain the plastics base and sand.
