Abstract

1433218 Glazing NISSAN MOTOR CO Ltd 13 July 1973 [17 July 1972] 33599/73 Heading E1R A windshield 10 is fastened to a framework 24 by a device 26 having a channel section portion 42 receiving a windshield edge and an integral portion 44 for attachment to the framework by threaded fastening means 54. The pane is secured by adhesive in channelshaped portion 42 which is itself secured by adhesive 28 to flange 30 of the framework. There are a plurality of spaced devices 26, the pane edge being directly adhered to flange 30 between the devices. The portion 44 is bolted to a tongue 38 on flange 32 or to a tongue on flange 30. A single device may have a plurality of mounting portions 44.
