Abstract

1432675 Electrographic toners ADDRESSOGRAPH - MULTIGRAPH CORP [17 April 1972] 17437/73 Heading C3P [Also in Division G2] An electrostatic toner comprises a synthetic resin mixture of at least one polyamide resin, at least one brittle thermoplastic resin selected among rosin-modified phenolic resins, maleic anhydride-polyhydric alcohol modified rosin, esterified diphenolic resins, cyclohexanoneformaldehyde resins and cyclohexanone condensation resins and a polyethylene resin which constitutes 2 to 15% by weight of the toner. Metal soaps, such as aluminium palmitate or a cadmium, zinc, barium or lithium salt of stearic, lauric or palmitic acid, polyhydric alcohols, purified wood rosins, toluene sulphonamides, polyol resins and butylated-hydroxy-toluene may be included.
