Abstract

1431170 Kettles SUNBEAM ELECTRIC Ltd 7 June 1973 [15 June 1972] 28151/72 Heading A4A [Also in Division G1] A domestic kettle has an internal vertical hollow guide housing 3 in fluid communication with the kettle body and containing a float 1 with an indicator 2 which moves in a passage 8 in a front vertical portion 5 of the kettle handle, the indicator passing through an aperture in the kettle body being visible through a window 9 over the passage 8. The front portion 5 of the handle is secured to the kettle body by a pin 6 through a lug 7. The float is retained in the housing 3 by closing a pair of bendable tabs in the wall 4.
