1430580 Indicator lamp LUCAS ELECTRICAL CO Ltd 20 June 1973 [28 June 1972] 30243/72 Heading F4R An indicator lamp for use in a road vehicle has three translucent screens 14, 15, 16 coloured red, amber and blue respectively, a film 17 bearing transparent areas depicting words or symbols and a cover 18 of dark translucent material. A piece of adhesive tape 20 is stuck to amber screen 15 to absorb some of the light since otherwise the amber screen would appear to be brighter than the other screens. The cover, film and screens are held in place by a bezel 19.
