1430448 Woven accoustic panels HITCO 29 June 1973 [3 July 1972] 31150/73 Heading D1K [Also in Division F2] A multiply resin-impregnated accoustic panel 10 is woven from wrapped or braid covered cored yarns so that, during weaving and impregnation, the yarns do not flatten sufficiently to block interstices 24 in at least a face panel 12 and noise may enter and be absorbed in the compartments 18. The yarns may be nylon wrapped or braided cores of glass fibre or carbonaceous material.
