Abstract

1429040 Filing paper ING C OLIVETTI & C SpA 1 May 1973 [3 May 1972] 20672/73 Heading B6E A foldable wire support for suspended files comprises an upper frame 1 interconnected to a lower frame 3 by a pair of pivotably mounted uprights 2, the uprights being rotatable on the upper frame within the limits of stop means and the lower frame having clasping means to retain the uprights substantially at right angles to the lower frame. The upper frame comprises two rectangular skeletons welded together at their points of contact 14. Each upright 2 has two eyes 15, engaging on the upper frame so as to enable the uprights to be pivoted with respect to the upper frame until bends 16 engage the sides 6, 7 of the frame. Bends 17, 18 are also provided in the uprights which are engaged in clasping means formed by bends 20 in the lower frame. For folding, the uprights are disengaged from the lower frame and rotated through 270 degrees to lie in the plane of the upper frame. The wire may be plastics coated. Rods 25 may facilitate file suspension.
