Abstract

1428942 Electro-photography XONICS Inc 21 June 1974 [31 Aug 1973] 27626/74 Heading G2H [Also in Division H1] Apparatus for producing an x-radiograph of an object 12 comprises an imaging chamber 11 having two spaced substantially concentric electrodes 15, 17 of spherical segment shape, a power supply 22 connectable to the electrodes 15, 17, means for holding a charged particle receptor sheet 20 of dielectric material against one of the electrodes (15 as shown), and means for maintaining a gas under pressure in the gap 21 between the electrodes 15, 17. After exposure, the resultant charged sheet 20 may be developed by any known method. The electrodes are moved apart and together as required for removal and replacement of sheets 20 by a motor driven screw mechanism.
