Abstract

1428899 Amusement device GENERAL MILLS FUN GROUP INC 16 April 1974 [30 April 1973] 16597/74 Heading A6M A rotatable amusement device comprises a base member 12, a seat member 14 rotatably mounted thereon by means of a ball race, a vertical post 16 passing through a circular hole in seat 14 and non-rotatbly connected to the base member, and a handle 18 also non-rotatably connected to the post 16. The post 16 which may comprise two halves is connected to the base member via tapered end portion 82 having splines 90 engaged in grooves 32 of socket 28 of base member and securely held by screw 102. The post is connected to the handle in a similar fashion. A child sitting on the seat member 14 operates the device by pulling or pushing on handle 18 to cause relative rotation between the seat and the base member, post and handle arrangement.
