1427944 Amplitude modulation TSENTRALNA RAZVOYNA LABORATORIA 16 Aug 1973 [25 Aug 1972] 38859/73 Heading H3R A transmitter comprises an amplitude modulator stage followed by an amplifier, the power supply to the amplifier being varied in dependence on the mean modulation power. The modulation signal is fed to the modulator, e.g. a grid or base modulator circuit and also to a mean level detector which provides a control signal for a controlled rectifier which supplies power to a power amplifier stage connected between the modulator and the aerial.
