1425960 Calenders SUWA SEIKOSHA K K 25 April 1973 [2 May 1972] 19603/73 Heading G3T [Also in Division G4-6] A liquid crystal display device comprises a plurality of liquid crystal segments which are arranged to display symbols corresponding to all the days of the week, each symbol being in the form of two Roman letters and consisting of the first letter as a capital, and another letter of the day as a small character, each of a plurality of segments being arranged to form part of the display of more than one of said letters, the segments being arranged in at least 3 adjacent groups, each group being arranged to display symbols corresponding to at least two days of the week. Displays in French German and Spanish are also described.
