Abstract
1425731 Resistors IFO AB 7 May 1973 [23 May 1972] 21722/73 Heading HIS A resistance unit comprises an insulating casing 2 having a mounting hole 9 and an annular recess 6 in which is provided a resistance element 3 embedded in an insulating moisture-impervious mass 4. The element 3 is preferably a helical wire or a corrugated strip and has end terminals 5 which project from the mass 4. Casing 2 is preferably of ceramic material e.g. cordierite; alternatively glass, glass ceramic or heat-durable plastics material may be used. Further holes 9 may also be provided.
