Abstract

1424922 Educational appliances T KASAMATSU 7 Nov 1973 [17 Nov 1972] 51634/73 Heading G5G [Also in Divisions H1 and H2] A circuit assembly for instructional purposes comprises insulating base 1 having a backing 2 of ferromagnetic material such as a sheet of iron, components such as capacitor 6 being secured to the base by magnets 13a, 13b electrically and mechanically connected to leads 12a, 12b, and interconnecting conductors 17 being connected to the component leads by magnetic end pieces 18. As shown a support plate 11 is provided for component 6 and incorporates the magnets, and leads 12a, 12b have metal end pieces which may be magnetic or be secured adhesively to magnets 13a, 13b. Where the component 6 is light enough to be supported by its leads, support plate 11 may be dispensed with (Fig. 4, not shown).
