Abstract

1423986 Silencers WOODS OF COLCHESTER Ltd 5 April 1973 [21 Feb 1972] 7873/72 Heading F1B [Also in Division F3 and F4] A sound alternating unit between a power driven air moving device 26, Fig. 1 and a roof opening 4 comprises a duct having two facing side walls 15, 16 covered with sound insulating material and also having splitters 20 of sound insulating material disposed substantially parallel to each other and to the two covered walls. In a modification an additional flashing skirt of zinc may be nailed to the wooden frame 6 to overlap the joint between the flashing 7 and curb 3. Nose fairings 24 may be triangular in cross-section.
