1421879 Coating apparatus GES FUR ELEKTROTECHNIK mbH 13 May 1974 [16 May 1973] 21053/74 Heading B2L In apparatus for applying a mixture of resin and hardener by gravity from an outlet 3 onto a rotatably mounted stator or rotor winding 4 from a liquid chamber when the winding reaches a determined temperature, the chamber 8 includes a level sensitive switch to control supply of liquid to the chamber and a shut off device 7 to open when the winding reaches the determined temperature. As shown a number of chambers 3 are supplied from a reservoir I of the liquid mixture each chamber including a capacitive switch or an inductive switch with a ferromagnetic or ferrimagnetic float 13 on the liquid surface, a shield 12 of p.t.f.e. for example being provided in each chamber for the switch elements which may be adjusted vertically to adjust the amount of liquid metered. The shut off device is a ball which is displaceable from its seating 6 by a magnet 23 on a pivotable support 24.
