1421508 Pulping apparatus LENNART WALLEN & CO AB 28 Feb 1974 [1 March 1973] 9095/74 Heading B2A A pulp refiner comprises vertical side walls 1, 2 Fig. 1 a motor 3 in one long side wall 1, arranged to produce two rotational pulping zones 9, 10 and a recess 11 for removal of contraries. An arrangement of fins 5, 8 and curved end walls 2 results in the formation of the pulping zones. A second embodiment uses 3 rotors to produce four pulping zones 12 .... 15 Fig. 2 each with a contraries recess. The recesses are connected by a valve to a discharge conduit.
