Abstract

1420638 Gaming machines BELL FRUIT MFG CO Ltd 19 Feb 1974 [16 Nov 1973] 53197/73 Addition to 1359852 Heading G4U A gaming machine as claimed in claim 1 of Specification 1,359,852 in which each prizewinning combination is identifiable in an array by a characteristic common to all of the constituent symbols in the prize-winning combination. In the embodiment described each symbol on reels R 1 R 2 R 3 represents one or more players of the two teams or a goal scored by one or other of the teams. The players chosen and goals scored are displayed on display C. In operation a coin or token is placed in slot S and one of buttons R and B pressed to select a team. This causes the reels to be operated twice to spin and stop the reels thereby selecting six football or goal symbols. If a prize-winning result is achieved a prize is delivered. If the final score is a score draw then a "corner feature" Fig. 2 (not shown) can be initiated. This is done by pressing button X. This causes a sequence of lights to be switched on and off. If, when a specific light is lit button Y is pressed then a prize is dispensed. Other modifications as disclosed in the above mentioned patent are described.
