1420464 Retractible roof structure COMPAGNIE D'ETUDES ET DE CONSTRUCTION D'EQUIPEMENTS COLLECTIFS COTECHNIPP 11 July 1973 [11 July 1972] 33157/73 Heading E1A A retractible roof for a structure, e.g. a swimming pool, comprises an inflatable double skinned cover 5, 6 having a single skinned peripheral flange 5b, the cover being arranged to be wound onto and off a drum 14 at one side of the structure and to be tensioned by wires 28 wound onto a drum 23 at the opposite side of the structure, the covering passing over an inflatable hose 10 along the structure's periphery. The covering is made of neoprene-coated nylon and the lower skin 6 is reinforced with a stainless-steel mesh. Hot-air ducts 45 are provided.
