Abstract
1420444 Fishing rod handle DAGGEEM Inc 19 March 1973 12997/73 Heading A1A The handle for a fishing rod accepts the foot of a fishing rod in a choice of positions. The main member 10 comprises a depressed central section 16, a rear handle 15, a finger grip 14 and a rod support 33. At the rear of the central section 16 is glued a channel member 21 and at the front is a U member 23 held in position by a headed bolt 19 passing through a hole 18 into a tapped boss 26 of the U member. The U member 23 has channels 25 corresponding to those 22 in the channel member 21 and these channels together provide a choice of positions to locate the foot 28 of a reel 29, the screw 19 in combination with the sloping wall 13 supplying the clamping action. The components may be of plastics e.g. polycarbonate, or aluminium.
