Abstract

1420126 Electro-chemical analysis PFAUDLER-WERKE A G 1 Aug 1973 [2 Aug 1972] 36680/73 Addition to 1304117 Heading G1N In a glass electrode as described in Fig. 2 of the parent Specification 1304117 the enamel undercoat on the metallic support has two hydrogen ion sensitive enamel glass coatings fused thereon, the coatings having a different ion specifitivity and hence differing voltage/ion concentration characteristic slopes. 0-10% of Al 2 O 3 or B 2 O 3 may be added to the glasses of one of the coatings so as to increasingly indicate alkali ions as well as hydrogen ions thereby altering its slope. Alternatively one of the coatings may be partially covered.
