Abstract

1419913 Harps K PETUTSCHNIGG 10 May 1974 [11 May 1973] 20830/74 Heading G5J A harp may be modulated by the apposition of pedal operated bridge members 1, 2 at the same point on string 3. The bridge members 1, 2 are pins fixed to a member (not shown) rotatably mounted in the harp saddle, the pins being bent to have the axis of the string contact portion transverse to the string axis and spaced from the rotation axis. In another embodiment (Figs. 3 and 4, not shown) the bridge member 2 is fixed away from the string 3 in the path of member 1.
