Abstract

1418721 Cathode-ray tube displays SIEMENS AG 1 Jan 1973 [30 Dec 1971] 121/73 Addition to 1283706 Heading H4T The invention of the parent case in which a display is produced representing the variation, as a function of time, of a series of measured values available in digital form under the control of an image repetition store (circulating register) periodically up-dated by a new measured value and erasure of the oldest stored value is modified by displaying additional information related to the measured values and similarly up-dated, such information being dis- 'played on a portion of the display screen spaced from the portion on which the measured values are displayed by a portion on which no information is displayed. As described, the display is produced by bright-up of a horizontal line raster, the additional information, which is indicative of desired values, e.g. one or more of the corresponding successive measured values derived during a previous measuring period, being produced on one or more line scans at the top of the display and separated from the display of the measured values by one or more unused raster lines, the magnitudes represented by both displays being indicated by the horizontal position of the display and the time scale by the vertical position of the display.
