Abstract

1418210 Stripping sheets KATSURAGAWA DENKI KK 11 July 1973 [19 July 1972] 32971/73 Heading B8R Copy sheets are stripped from the photosensitive drum 1 of a copying apparatus by a pneumatic device comprising a stationary cylinder 6a having an axial slot 61 and further circumferentially directed slots 63 and a rotary cylinder 6b having perforations 62. The cylinder 68 is connected to a source of suction. Stripping fingers 6c engage in grooves 64 of cylinder 66 to strip the sheet therefrom and pass it to conveyer belts 7 of heat fixing apparatus 8. In an alternative form the fingers 6c may be dispensed with and the belts 7 may pass around cylinder 6b in the slots 64.
