141,752. Anderson, H. N. Dec. 18, 1917, [Convention date]. Drawings to Specification. Toothed wheels.-Spur and bevel gears ara rolled from plain blanks so as to form shrouded wheels. The shrouds assist in providing for a restricted lateral flow of metal resulting in fully formed teeth. The shrouds may be wholly turned away or may be cut down to the pitch line. Specifications 557/11, 18205/12, 11472/15, [Class 83 (iv), Metals, Working], and 149,938 are referred to in connexion with the rolling process.
