Abstract

1417501 Inserting tools SKF INDUSTRIAL TRADING & DEVELOPMENT CO BV 18 April 1973 [21 April 1972] 18809/73 Heading B4C [Also in Division F2] A tool for mounting a sealing member for a roller bearing comprises a sizing ring 13 and a sliding sleeve 14 having a plane end face 15. During installation an inner edge 16 of a bore 17 is slid upon a sizing ring 13 and placed against an end face 18 of groove 7. The annular plate 9 is installed by the sliding sleeve 14 and an outwardly diminishing gap 21 is produced between the inner race 2 and bore 17.
