Abstract

1417443 Delivering sheets GESTETNER BYFLEET Ltd 18 Feb 1974 [23 Feb 1973] 9050/73 Heading B8R Sheets are stripped from an electrostatographic copying drum 2 by a pivotable stripping finger 4 urged against the drum periphery by a spring or counterweight 20, the finger supporting a freely rotatable fluted, serrated or knurled wheel which engages the stripped sheet and directs it into guides 25, 26. The tip 6 of the finger is tapered and its lower surface is concavely undercut at 12. In axial cross section, the wheel tapers towards its periphery. More than one finger and wheel may be provided.
