Abstract

1417005 Douche apparatus J L MURRAY and F R GARDINER 8 Nov 1972 [2 March 1972] 48220/73 Divided out of 1417004 Heading A5R [Also in Division B8] The subject matter of this application is substantially the same as that of Specification 1417004, but the claims are directed at the package for containing the effervescing and medicating compounds. In addition, apparatus is described for use with the package, by which the package may be sealed from or opened to the water to provide an intermittent douche. The package 100 is housed in a housing 70 which is slidably mounted inside a container 60 by means of a button 88, so that ports 94 may be exposed or sealed as required. A slide (93), Fig. 4, (not shown) has a flow diverting aperture (95) which may be used to divert liquid flow from the main outlet passage 38.
