Abstract

1416259 Two-part couplings HITACHI Ltd 28 March 1973 [29 March 1972] 14934/73 Heading H2E Sets of cable cores 5 are interconnected by stackable connectors 1a, 1b, 1c. Each terminal 2 comprises a female contact A, a wire-wrapping portion C and a male contact B. Extensions 4 of the side walls of the housing space adjacent connectors so that access to the wire wrapping portions C is provided. The terminals 2 are fixed in parallel cavities by pressing fitting, moulding in, or twisting after insertion. A variety of arrangements of side wall extensions 4 is described.
